Mother

Mother is the folksy, apple-cheeked owner of MomCorp, the corporation that manufactures most of the robots in the world. She speaks in a honeyed, grandmotherly drawl, calls everyone "sugar" or "sweetie," and radiates cheerful warmth that never quite conceals the calculating, ruthless businesswoman underneath.

The joke is entirely in the gap between voice and intent: Tress MacNeille layers a syrupy, Aunt Bee sweetness over lines that are pure boardroom menace, so every threat sounds like a lullaby. It's a sharp bit of corporate satire disguised as a kindly old lady, and MacNeille never breaks the disguise.
