Motel Pillow #2 is exactly what the credit implies: a talking pillow in a roadside motel room, briefly given a voice and an opinion during one of Big Mouth's typically unhinged cutaway gags. It exists for a joke, has a personality for about thirty seconds, and vanishes.

The show's whole comic engine is treating the smallest, silliest object as if it deserves full emotional interiority, and stunt-casting a voice like Jenny Slate's on a background pillow is the bit. The pleasure is in the commitment — a real actor, a real take, on something that will never appear again.
