Moon Farmer

Moon Farmer tends his patch of lunar soil like it's the most ordinary thing in the world, a leathery old-timer in overalls who has clearly done this job long before it became a tourist attraction. He wants tourists to leave his crops alone and treats the Moon's novelty with the weary patience of a man who has answered the same dumb questions a thousand times.

He's a one-scene sight gag turned into a whole personality: the cosmic made mundane, a farmer grousing about kids trampling his moondirt as if it were any Earth cornfield. Billy West gives him the gravelly, no-nonsense drawl of every crusty agricultural stereotype, and the joke lands precisely because nobody around him treats it as strange.
