Monique

Monique appears as the towering robot wife of the Robot Devil, glimpsed in the fiery bowels of Robot Hell. She is enormous, imposing, and entirely unbothered by the infernal chaos around her, treating her monstrous domestic life with a bored, matter-of-fact calm that suggests she has seen far worse than damned robots.

She works because the joke is scale and understatement: a nightmarish, skyscraper-sized creature voiced with the flat, put-upon weariness of any sitcom spouse. Tress MacNeille plays her like a woman waiting for her husband to finish a work call, which is funnier than any amount of screaming would be.
