Amanda Crew plays Monica as the show's rare grounded presence, someone who can hold her own in rooms full of preening founders and blustering executives without losing her warmth. The writing could easily reduce her to a corporate foil or a love interest, but she's given real professional stakes and instincts, and Crew plays her competence as quiet rather than performative.
