Mira Berenson

Mira is Saul Berenson's wife, living apart from him for work and weighing whether the marriage can survive his consuming career at the CIA. She is composed, direct, and visibly tired of coming second to the Agency, speaking to Saul with the plainness of someone who has already rehearsed leaving.

Sarita Choudhury plays the toll of intelligence work from the outside, giving the show a domestic register amid the spy plotting. Her scenes with Saul are quiet and unglamorous, but they carry real weight, letting a marriage under strain say something the surveillance and interrogations can't.
