Milo Minderbinder

Milo runs the mess hall on the airbase, but that's just his cover. He's already trading eggs and cotton and whatever else across borders, contracts blooming in every direction, insisting that everyone has a share in the syndicate even as he keeps every real decision to himself. He's affable, tireless, and utterly incapable of seeing a moral line as anything but an inefficiency.

The joke is that his logic is airtight and his conclusions are monstrous, and the show lets him state both with total sincerity. Daniel David Stewart plays him without a wink, all cheerful momentum and salesman's patience, which is exactly what makes the character's capitalism-as-lunacy so unsettling and so funny at once.
