A nameless laborer glimpsed on the job in the 31st century, the Mill Worker exists for a scene rather than a story — one more face in the vast, chaotic workforce that keeps New New York's industry grinding along. He does his work, says his line, and moves on with the plot around him.

Futurama's world feels lived-in because of throwaway figures like this one, and Phil LaMarr, already juggling Hermes and a dozen other voices in the cast, gives even a passing laborer a distinct texture. It's a small, specific choice that rewards attention without ever asking for it.
