Mike Faber

Mike Faber is a Marine sergeant and old friend of Nicholas Brody, the man who has quietly kept watch over Brody's family during the eight years everyone believed Brody was dead. He is steady, kind, and plainly devoted to Jessica and the kids, a decent presence stepping carefully around a household about to be upended.

He works as the human cost of a homecoming everyone else is celebrating. Diego Klattenhoff plays him without self-pity, all quiet restraint and awkward tenderness, so the show can use him to ask what happens to the people who held things together while a hero was gone — and what he owes them now.
