Michael Gray

Michael is the family's youngest adult member, raised apart from the Shelbys until his mother's return brings him into the fold. Ambitious and eager to prove himself, he starts on the legitimate books-and-numbers side of the business, watching his cousins' violence with a certain distance while clearly hungry for real power.

Finn Cole plays him with a boyish keenness that makes his ambition legible before it curdles into anything else — you can see a young man calculating his own worth in real time. He's the audience's entry point into Shelby business logic, the cousin who asks the questions we would, and that makes him easy to underestimate.
