A minor herald figure who turns up to deliver word from higher authority, all business and no wasted breath. Whatever bureaucracy or cosmic power sends him, he treats the errand as routine, dropping the news on Fry, Leela, and the Planet Express crew before moving on to whatever comes next.

Futurama fills its background with these brisk little functionaries, and Phil LaMarr's flair for clipped, deadpan delivery makes even a one-scene messenger land a joke. It's the show's gift for treating the absurd bureaucracy of the future as utterly mundane, and LaMarr sells that flatness beautifully.
