Marky

Marky is a Big Brother runner, engaged to Kelly, one of the housemates about to be evicted on launch night. When the outbreak hits, he's out in the chaos of the studio grounds, desperate and increasingly frantic to get back inside to her, armed with nothing but panic and love.

Warren Brown plays him as an ordinary bloke shoved into apocalypse, and the show uses his devotion to Kelly as the emotional spine running through the carnage and satire. His terror feels human and unglamorous, which makes the horror land harder against Dead Set's otherwise vicious media satire.
