Marcy Brewer

Marcy Brewer turns up in Schitt's Creek as one of the town's fixtures, the sort of local face who has clearly seen every scheme and every meltdown the Roses have staged. She observes more than she participates, delivering plain-spoken reactions that puncture whatever pretension is currently on display.

Deborah Tennant plays her with the dry, unbothered patience of someone who has lived in this town her whole life and expects nothing less than absurdity from its newest residents. It's a small role, but the deadpan control gives every scene she's in a grounded, funny honesty.
