Man with Broken Leg

He turns up exactly as billed: a background New New Yorker hobbling through the frame on crutches, leg in a cast, a piece of incidental scenery in whatever chaos Fry, Leela and Bender have caused. He wants nothing more than to get where he's going without further injury.

The joke is the economy of it — a nothing character given a fully committed voice by John DiMaggio, who also plays Bender, so the gag becomes a small dare to the audience to spot him. Futurama's background is packed with these disposable delights, and this is one of the purest examples.
