Man in Restaurant

A nameless diner glimpsed in passing, one of the countless background faces that populate New New York's eateries. He has no arc, no stated ambition beyond whatever small moment the scene calls for — just a stranger at a table, there to fill out the world Fry and the Planet Express crew move through.

The joke, such as it is, belongs to the credits: John DiMaggio, the voice of Bender himself, popping up under a throwaway alias to fill a blink-and-miss-it role. It's a small wink at how much of Futurama's background chatter comes from the same handful of overworked, endlessly versatile voices.
