Maki Zen'in

Maki Zen'in is a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High, born into a powerful sorcerer clan yet supposedly cursed-energy-blind, which her family treats as a mark of shame. She fights anyway, wielding cursed tools with brutal physical skill, speaking bluntly, and refusing to be pitied or written off by anyone, family included.

Komatsu gives her a flat, unimpressed delivery that turns every insult from the Zen'in clan into fuel rather than wound, and the writing lets her prove herself through sheer competence rather than a sudden power-up. She's funny, unsentimental, and terrifyingly capable with a blade, which makes her instantly magnetic.
