Magician #2

Magician #2 turns up as exactly what the name promises: one half of a novelty double-act, pulled into whatever chaotic scene Big Mouth needs a magic trick for. He performs with total earnestness, treating the absurd task in front of him like real showmanship, which is the whole joke.

Big Mouth thrives on throwaway characters played completely straight, and a bit part voiced by Jordan Peele gets more commitment than it has any right to. The fun is in the mismatch — a polished, confident delivery poured into a gag this small, which is funnier than if the show had cast it lazily.
