Lyndon Johnson's Head

One of the many preserved celebrity and historical heads floating in jars at the Head Museum in New New York, Lyndon Johnson's Head pops up as a recurring bit of background color in the 31st century. He's blustery, self-important, and prone to holding forth as though still president, despite being nothing but a talking head in a jar.

The joke is the whole point: a towering LBJ reduced to a bodiless jar ornament who still can't stop being a politician. Phil LaMarr gives him a gravelly, wheedling bombast that lands the gag every time he shows up, part of Futurama's running delight in deflating history's biggest egos down to size.
