Lumberjack

A minor figure glimpsed amid the show's parade of absurd one-off characters, Lumberjack shows up exactly as advertised: flannel-clad, axe-ready, and dropped into whatever surreal scenario the episode demands. He talks like he belongs in a folk tale that wandered into the wrong dimension, blunt and unbothered by how strange his surroundings actually are.

The joke is the flatness of it — a stock frontier archetype played completely straight against sci-fi chaos, with Roiland's own vocal deadpan doing the heavy lifting. It's the kind of throwaway bit that works because nobody oversells it; the absurdity is left alone to be exactly as silly as it looks.
