Luda drifts into Missy's life as a cool, otherworldly presence — sharp-dressed, soft-spoken, and entirely unbothered by the chaos of adolescence around him. He appears when she's lost or overwhelmed, offering guidance with the unhurried confidence of someone who has seen every version of this mess before and finds it charming rather than alarming.

Jordan Peele plays him with a jazz musician's patience, all low tones and perfect timing, which makes Luda feel like wisdom itself rather than another cartoon adult shouting advice. The show gives him space to be genuinely soothing amid its usual anarchic noise, and Peele fills that space with warmth instead of showing off.
