Amanda Warren plays her with a stillness that refuses to tip into either menace or comfort, which keeps you guessing exactly what Lucy actually believes and what she's willing to do about it. The show gives her purpose rather than exposition, and Warren lets that purpose read as conviction instead of mystery for its own sake.
