Lucas Sinclair

Lucas is the pragmatic one of the group, quicker to demand proof than his friends and less willing to just take a supernatural crisis on faith. He's loyal to his party but wary of being led into danger, especially once a strange, silent girl starts changing the rules everyone's been playing by.

He's the skeptic in a show built on wonder, which gives the friend group real friction instead of easy agreement. McLaughlin plays that doubt as care rather than cowardice, so when Lucas eventually commits, it lands as earned trust rather than a switch being flipped.
