Luca Changretta

Luca Changretta arrives from New York immaculately dressed and utterly composed, a mafia son come to Birmingham to settle a family score with the Shelbys. He speaks softly, moves without hurry, and treats violence as a matter of business rather than passion — a man who has waited years and intends to be patient a little longer.

Brody plays him as glacial where Tommy Shelby is coiled, and the contrast is the point: two men who think several moves ahead, one operating on cold ledger-logic instead of instinct. The stillness is the menace. He never raises his voice because he has never needed to, and that restraint makes every scene he enters feel like the temperature has dropped.
