Lt. Henry Jones

Henry Jones arrives with Easy Company as a fresh, eager young lieutenant, entering a unit hardened by years of combat he has only trained for. He is earnest and by-the-book, anxious to prove himself among veterans who have already seen the worst of the war, and unsure yet where he fits.

Colin Hanks plays him with a wide-eyed formality that makes the show's veterans, and the audience, size him up instantly. He becomes a fresh set of eyes through which we relearn how strange and terrible this world has become to the men who've been living in it all along.
