Love Quinn runs the gourmet grocery in Los Angeles where Joe takes a job, all warmth and quick wit behind the counter. She's close with her twin brother Forty, generous with her time, unbothered by other people's mess, and refreshingly direct about what she wants. She seems like the healthy option — someone whole, not a puzzle to solve.

Victoria Pedretti plays Love as sunlit and easy, which is precisely the trick: after a season of Joe's fevered narration about damaged women needing rescue, here's someone who appears to need nothing from him at all. That surface calm, and how convincingly Pedretti sells it, is what makes her worth watching closely from the very first scene.
