Lou

Lou turns up as one of the many faces drifting through Futurama's twisty vision of the 31st century, a small-scale presence rather than a marquee player. He does what he's there to do in whatever scene he's in, part of the show's crowded background of robots, aliens, and deadpan New New Yorkers.

David Herman, one of Futurama's most reliable utility voices, brings the same dry, unhurried comic instinct to Lou that he gives the show's other bit parts. It's a small role, but it's handled with the same care as anything bigger — proof the show's texture comes from voices like this filling in the corners.
