Loid Forger / Agent Twilight

Loid Forger is really Twilight, a master spy for the Westalis intelligence service, and to complete his latest mission he needs a ready-made family fast. He adopts a daughter and finds a wife of convenience, then sets about performing suburban fatherhood with the same cold precision he brings to espionage.

The joke is that a man built entirely for deception keeps being undone by things he cannot fake: a child's tantrum, a school interview, actual affection. Eguchi plays the icy spy-craft narration and the flustered dad-panic in the same deadpan voice, and the gap between them is where all the warmth and comedy live.
