Lizzie

Lizzie turns up on set as one of the many extras drifting through Andy Millman's world in Extras — background noise on a film shoot, waiting for a line, a glance, a chance to matter. She watches, chats, and gets on with the tedium of being nearly invisible for a living.

The show's comedy lives in the gap between fame and the anonymous crowd propping it up, and Lizzie sits right in that gap. Rebecca Gethings plays her with the dry, unbothered patience of someone used to hanging around film sets, which makes her a quietly funny witness to the absurdity around her.
