Lisa

Lisa appears as one of the many incidental faces populating the Futurama universe, a small role folded into the show's crowded 31st-century backdrop. She turns up doing whatever the scene needs of her, unassuming and quickly gone, part of the texture rather than the plot.

The character works because of who's behind the microphone: Tress MacNeille, one of animation's great utility voices, gives even a passing role like this a distinct shape and comic timing. It's a small pleasure of Futurama that its background is stuffed with performances this sturdy.
