Lindsay Bluth Fünke

Lindsay is Michael's twin sister, a onetime beauty who married money and now drifts through life doing charity work mostly as a photo opportunity. She's vain, easily distracted by causes she doesn't understand, and married to Tobias in a relationship built more on habit than passion. She wants attention and validation without effort.

De Rossi plays Lindsay's self-delusion with total conviction, never winking at the audience even when the character is being spectacularly ridiculous. The writing gives her a bottomless well of performative do-gooding and shallow rebellion, and de Rossi commits so fully to Lindsay's obliviousness that her vanity becomes genuinely, consistently funny rather than grating.
