Lev Haiba

Lev Haiba is a towering first-year on Nekoma's volleyball team, all long limbs and louder confidence than his skill justifies. He's new to the sport, eager to prove his height means something, and endlessly chatty about it. Teammates find him equal parts exasperating and endearing as he badgers Yaku for coaching he hasn't yet earned.

The joke of Lev is that his best asset—that enormous reach—is also what makes his mistakes so visible, and the show never lets him coast on potential. His puppyish persistence turns what could be an easy comic type into someone you actually want to see improve, one clumsy receive at a time.
