Leon Bittle

Leon Bittle is one of Loy Cannon's men in the Kansas City underworld of 1950, sharp-suited muscle who moves through the criminal machinery with cool, businesslike menace. He works in tandem with his partner, handling the dirty jobs the outfit needs done, loyal to Cannon's ambitions and quick to act on them.

Jeremie Harris plays Leon with an unshowy, watchful intensity — a man who has made peace with violence as simply part of the job. The writing keeps him lean and functional, but Harris finds small human notes in the swagger, making him feel like a real person operating inside a brutal system rather than a genre type.
