Leelu

Leelu turns up as one of the many one-off faces that populate Futurama's sprawling universe of aliens, robots, and bureaucrats. Voiced with Maurice LaMarche's typically rich, theatrical delivery, the character exists mostly at the edges of Fry, Leela, and Bender's misadventures, adding texture rather than driving the plot.

LaMarche is one of animation's great utility voices, and Futurama leans hard on that gift, dropping him into minor roles where a booming or oddball register can turn a throwaway line into a laugh. Even in a small part, his commitment to the bit gives Leelu a flicker of personality the script alone might not supply.
