Fred Armisen has a gift for playing minor eccentrics as though they are the most reasonable people in the room, and that deadpan commitment is what makes even a small, odd character like this land. Big Mouth thrives on voices who sound utterly certain of themselves while everything around them is absurd, and Armisen supplies exactly that texture.
