Larry the Murder Burglar

Larry the Murder Burglar shows up as exactly what the name promises: a small-time crook whose specialty is breaking, entering, and killing, played entirely for the joke that someone would advertise it so plainly. He's brash, matter-of-fact about his awful trade, and treats the combination of burglary and murder as just good business.

The character is a punchline built entirely on tone: nobody in-universe reacts to the absurdity of his self-description, and Maurice LaMarche plays him with the same gruff, unbothered confidence he'd give a legitimate tradesman. That flat sincerity, applied to something monstrous, is the whole joke, and it lands because he never winks at the audience.
