Lamassu #2

Lamassu #2 is a minor background figure glimpsed in passing, one of Futurama's endless parade of one-scene oddities that populate its universe of robots, aliens, and mythological throwbacks. Little is asked of the character beyond existing briefly on screen, a small piece of the show's crowded, joke-dense world.

The charm here is less about the character than the show's habit of stuffing even its margins with texture, giving John DiMaggio one more voice to toss off among his many. It's a testament to Futurama's density that even a fleeting, barely-there role gets a name and a reason to exist.
