Lady Trieu

Lady Trieu is the wealthiest woman on Earth, and Tulsa's newest neighbor introduces herself by gifting an elderly couple a fully-grown farmhouse in exchange for their land. She runs a gleaming biotech empire, speaks in riddles about destiny, and seems to already know everything happening around her — including things she has no ordinary way of knowing.

Hong Chau plays her with total, unshowy confidence, never straining to prove the character's genius because the writing never doubts it either. Lady Trieu arrives fully formed as a mystery box who isn't hiding anything so much as operating on a timescale nobody else can see, which makes every calm, pleasant thing she says faintly unsettling.
