Kiyota Nobunaga

Kiyota Nobunaga is Kainan's brash young forward, a bundle of raw talent and louder ego, who struts onto the court sure he's the best player Kanagawa has ever seen. He crows about his own genius, picks fights over pride as much as points, and plays with a grinning, reckless hunger that makes him impossible to ignore.

He's comic relief with real teeth: Morikawa plays his boasting so full-throttle that the arrogance becomes endearing rather than grating, and the show lets his skill occasionally back up the mouth. Watching him collide with equally proud rivals turns basketball into ego theater, and his simple, sunny self-belief is oddly infectious.
