Kino Loy

Kino Loy runs Level Two of a prison work floor with a foreman's brutal efficiency, keeping his fellow inmates in line and counting down the days until his sentence ends. He has no patience for trouble, believes obedience is the only way to survive, and treats the rules of the shop as gospel.

Serkis plays him as a man who has made peace with a small, survivable cage, which makes his gradual unraveling so devastating to watch. The writing lets his authority curdle into doubt in real time, and Serkis finds the exact moment a disciplinarian's certainty breaks — quiet, then thunderous.
