King of Space

King of Space is a figure from the guileless world of low-budget, in-universe science fiction that Futurama loves to spoof — a blustering, cardboard-heroic ruler glimpsed on-screen within the show itself, all swagger and stiff dialogue, exactly the kind of cheesy space-opera archetype the Planet Express crew watch and mock.
