Kiela arrives at Cal U as one more face finding her footing among the sprawling social currents of college life. She is watchful and self-possessed, sizing up friendships, parties, and pressures before committing to any of them, more interested in figuring out who she is than in performing an answer for anyone else.

Daniella Perkins brings a grounded, unshowy naturalism to campus-comedy chaos, letting silences and side-eyes do as much work as the jokes. The writing gives Kiela room to be uncertain without being lost, and that mix of dry composure and real vulnerability is what makes her easy to keep watching.
