Kevin Walker

Kevin Walker is the sharp-tongued lawyer of the sprawling Walker clan, the sibling who left for the corporate world and keeps a guarded distance from the family's chaos. Gay, ambitious and self-protective, he trades barbed wit for intimacy, and hovers at the edges of holidays and crises, unsure how much of himself to let his mother and siblings see.

Matthew Rhys plays Kevin's armor of sarcasm as genuine defense rather than quirk, so every crack in it lands. The writing lets him be the smartest person in the room and still visibly hungry to belong, and Rhys finds the ache under the wit without ever softening the edges that make him funny.
