Kevin Peyton

Kevin is Jackie Peyton's husband, a steady, hardworking man who runs a neighborhood bar and comes home to their two daughters. He loves his wife without reservation, trusts her completely, and has no idea how much of her life he doesn't see. He's affectionate, a little goofy, and utterly devoted to holding the family together.

Dominic Fumusa plays Kevin as guileless in the best sense—warm, physical, easy to love—which makes him the show's emotional ballast rather than a punchline. The writing uses his decency as a slow-burn tragedy engine: every scene of ordinary domestic happiness is quietly loaded, and Fumusa never tips his hand to it.
