Amber Midthunder gives Kerry a coiled, almost feral stillness that snaps into violence without warning, which makes her one of the show's few grounded certainties amid its hallucinatory chaos. The writing keeps her physical and unsentimental, letting the mystery of her connection to Cary do the emotional work while she just gets on with hitting things.
