Kay Hope

Kay Hope is Head of Sustainability at the Olympic Deliverance Commission, which in practice means she is the only person in the building who seems entirely sane. She glides through meetings with dry composure, quietly unimpressed by the panic around her, doing her actual job while everyone else performs theirs.

Amelia Bullmore plays her as the still point in a swirl of corporate flailing, and the contrast is the joke: everyone else flounders loudly while Kay simply gets on with things, arching an eyebrow at the absurdity. That restraint, paired with a sly warmth, makes her the character you trust to actually notice what's happening.
