Katsuki Bakugou

Katsuki Bakugou is a middle school prodigy with an explosive quirk to match his temper, convinced he's destined to be the greatest hero alive. He bullies his childhood friend Izuku Midoriya, mocks anyone he sees as weaker, and treats every setback as an insult to his pride. He wants to win, always, and he wants everyone to know it.

Okamoto plays him at a constant boil, all snarl and swagger, which makes it easy to underestimate what the writing is doing underneath: Bakugou's arrogance is a defense built by a kid who has only ever been told he's exceptional. The show lets you hate him first and understand him later, which is a much harder trick than making him likable outright.
