Katja Obinger arrives from Germany carrying warnings and a folder of grim proof about who is hunting women who look like Sarah. Wary and chain-smoking, she has clearly been running for a long time, and she trusts almost no one — but she needs Sarah to believe her before it's too late.

Maslany gives Katja a clipped, guarded accent and a haunted watchfulness that reads as someone who has already lost people to this conspiracy. She's on screen briefly, but the performance makes her feel like a whole exhausted life compressed into a single desperate visit, urgent enough to set the whole show's paranoia in motion.
