Robed, weary, and utterly unbothered by the absurdity of futuristic law, he delivers verdicts with the flat authority of a man who has seen every possible kind of nonsense cross his courtroom.

Billy West's gift for deadpan delivery turns a stock sitcom archetype into something genuinely funny — the Judge never winks at the joke, he just states lunatic rulings as if they were mundane paperwork. That contrast between his bureaucratic calm and Futurama's chaos is where the laugh lives, and West nails it every time.
