The Judge presides over whatever legal absurdity Planet Express has stumbled into this week, gavel in hand and patience already thin. He is unimpressed by nonsense, which in this universe is nearly everything brought before him, and he rules on it anyway with brisk, unbothered authority.

He's a small role built entirely on tone: a voice of institutional exasperation dropped into a show that runs on chaos. John DiMaggio, better known as Bender's growl, gives him a gruff, no-nonsense bark that makes even throwaway courtroom lines land as sharp, deadpan punctuation to whatever ridiculous case is unfolding.
