Josh "White Josh" Wilson

White Josh is Josh Chan's easygoing gym buddy, a fitness instructor at Rebecca's building whose main personality trait is being relentlessly, aggressively fine. He works out, he flirts, he keeps things light. He's introduced mostly as a foil and running joke about his name, before turning into something sturdier.

The show could've left him as a punchline about being 'the other Josh,' but David Hull plays him with a warmth and self-possession that makes him one of the sanest people in West Covina. His arc, especially his relationship with Darryl, becomes genuinely tender without ever losing his comic sunniness.
